At AF Giftingz, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase. We understand that sometimes things don’t work out, and we strive to make the return, refund, and warranty process as smooth as possible. Please read our policy carefully for details on returns, exchanges, and our warranty for personalized items.

Personalized Items Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our personalized items and offer a 14-day warranty for these products. If the personalization (such as engraving, printing, etc.) is removed or becomes damaged within 14 days of purchase, we will gladly reapply the personalization for you at no additional charge. This warranty applies only if the damage occurs due to the item’s construction or our error and is not due to misuse or external factors. If re-customization is needed, the customer will be responsible for shipping fees or may drop off the item in person if preferred.

Non-Personalized Items Returns

For non-personalized items, we are happy to accept returns under the following conditions:

  • Return Timeframe: Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.
  • Condition: Items must be in the same condition as when they were received—unused, unwashed, and with all original packaging and tags intact.

We reserve the right to refuse returns for items that do not meet these conditions.

Personalized Items Returns and Exchanges

Due to the custom nature of personalized items, we do not accept returns or exchanges for these products. Please double-check all personalization details before confirming your order to ensure accuracy. If an error is found on our part, we will correct it and ship a new item at no extra cost.

Refunds

If you are eligible for a refund (for non-personalized items or if there was an error in personalization), we will process the refund to the original payment method once the return is received and inspected. Refunds typically take 7-10 business days to reflect in your account.

How to Initiate a Return or Warranty Request

To initiate a return for non-personalized items or to request a warranty for a personalized item, please contact our customer support team at returns@afgiftingz.co.za. When contacting us, please include:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the item (if applicable)
  • Reason for return or warranty request

Processing Time

  • Custom Orders Lead Time: Our lead time for custom orders is typically 5 to 10 business days, subject to change depending on size and nature of order. This includes the time required for customization and preparation before shipping.
  • Order Processing: All other orders are processed within 2-5 business days of purchase (excluding weekends and holidays).
  • Personalized Items: Please note that personalized items may take additional time to process, depending on the complexity of customization.

Shipping Times

  • Courier Shipping: We ship via a courier company, and the delivery time typically takes 3 to 5 business days once the order has been dispatched.
  • Domestic Orders: Estimated delivery time is 3-5 business days after shipment, depending on your location.

Please note that these delivery times are estimates, and we cannot guarantee specific arrival dates. Delays may occur due to circumstances outside of our control.

Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and the delivery destination. We strive to keep shipping costs affordable and transparent.

  • Free Shipping: We offer free standard shipping on all orders over R2500.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. Use this tracking number to check the status of your shipment on the carrier’s website.

Damaged or Missing Items

If your item arrives damaged or you are missing items from your order, please contact us within 2 days of receiving the package. We will resolve the issue quickly, either by sending a replacement or issuing a refund (if applicable).

Incorrect Shipping Address

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If you notice an error in your shipping address after placing the order, contact us immediately. We will do our best to assist you before the order is shipped.

Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, or other reasons outside of our control, we will contact you to arrange for reshipment. Please note that additional shipping charges may apply.
